Algerian talent sparks rivalry between Inter and Juventus
Italian club Inter Milan has decided to turn to the winter transfer market to sign a new right-back, given the continued absence of Dutchman Denzel Dumfries due to an ankle injury that is expected to keep him out of action until next March. Journalist Nicolo Schira reported that Inter Milan have placed Hellas Verona's Algerian full-back Rafik Belghali on their list of targets. Belgali is 23 years old and has played in all 15 of his team's Serie A matches this season, scoring two goals, including his goal in the recent victory against Atalanta. The interest in the player is not limited to Inter, as Juventus is also monitoring him, especially given his ability to advance with the ball and create danger in the final attacking third.
