Barcelona have made a strong start to the 2025-2026 La Liga season, surpassing their performance in the first round of the 2024-2025 season. The team has accumulated five more points, reaching 43 out of a possible 51, and has scored 100 goals so far this calendar year. This impressive start comes amidst fierce competition from Bayern Munich, the only team in Europe's top five leagues to have a better domestic record than Barcelona, with two draws in 14 matches compared to two losses and one draw for the Catalan side in 17 games . Under the guidance of coach Hansi Flick, Barcelona have successfully overcome a series of injuries that plagued their squad recently, with several key players sidelined for months, including Juan García and Rafinha, as well as Pedri, Balde, Olmo, Robert Lewandowski, Firmino López, Araujo, Javi, Ter Stegen, and Lamine Yamal.
