Tottenham are dealing internally with the "laughing gas" crisis!

Tottenham Hotspur manager Thomas Frank has confirmed that the club is internally addressing the case of midfielder Yves Bissouma, who was filmed inhaling nitrous oxide, commonly known as "laughing gas." This is not the first time Bissouma has caused controversy with this behavior. Last season, the club suspended him for a match after a similar video surfaced, and he apologized, acknowledging it as a serious error of judgment. When asked about the latest incident, Frank simply stated that it was an "internal matter" that would be dealt with soon, and he would not comment further until the process was complete. It is worth noting that the recreational use of nitrous oxide has been illegal in the UK since 2023, with penalties of up to two years imprisonment. Additionally, left-back Destiny Oduoghe suffered a hamstring tear that will keep him out of action until January, sustained in the match against Newcastle. Frank also confirmed that Brennan Johnson's participation in the upcoming Champions League match is "in doubt" after he missed training. In the context of preparations, Frank indicated the possibility of amending the team's Champions League roster, considering replacing Dominic Solanke with Matthys Till, given Solanke's limited participation due to an ankle injury.
