Manuel Neuer's stance is... ambiguous!

Bayern Munich's veteran goalkeeper, Manuel Neuer, has not yet made a final decision regarding renewing his contract with the club. Neuer has worn the Bayern Munich jersey since his transfer from Schalke in the summer of 2011, and his current contract expires at the end of this season in June 2026. Neuer has won 30 domestic, continental, and international titles with Bayern, most notably the Champions League twice, in 2012 and 2020. He retired from international football with the German national team last year, in 2024. Speaking to Sky Germany, Neuer said, "I want to enjoy this period." He added, "It's worth taking some time to think about it. Many factors will determine my decision, such as my physical and health condition, and whether I can continue playing. So, I need more time."
