Tuchel determines Bellingham's future with England

Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham may have to wait before regaining his place in England's starting lineup, after manager Thomas Tuchel indicated he is in no hurry to change the team's tactics to accommodate the player. Since Bellingham's last appearance in the 3-1 defeat to Senegal in June, Morgan Rodgers has flourished in the playmaker role, guiding England to consecutive wins against Serbia and Latvia, securing their place at the 2026 World Cup. Tuchel explained that Bellingham and Rodgers can compete as friends, with mutual respect, and that playing together is possible but would require a change in tactics, which may not be appropriate at present. With England's qualification already secured, this eases the pressure on the manager ahead of the final two qualifying matches against Serbia and Germany.
