3 Arab teams kicks-off their matches tonight in FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2021

The 18th FIFA Club World Cup™️ will kick-off tonight Thursday in Abu Dhabi, when Al Jazira takes on AS Pirae in the opening match. The hosts’ domestic champions are joined at this year’s tournament by the club champions from each of the world’s six confederations, who will battle it out over eight games for the most prestigious prize in global club football.
Seven teams from 6 different continents will participate in the FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2021, and they are: “Al-Ahly of Egypt, champion of Africa, Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia, champion of Asia, Chelsea of England, champion of Europe, Palmeiras of Brazil, champion of South America, Monterrey of Mexico, champion of North America, AS Pirae, champion of Tahiti, representative of Oceania. Home side Al Jazira becomes the first Emirati team to appear in two editions when they take on AS Pirae of Tahiti, the first participants from the small island nation.
This edition witnesses the crowning of a new champion in the competition, as the seven participating teams have never won the title before, while the Spanish team Real Madrid is the most club that has won the FIFA Club World Cup with 4 times.
