Real Madrid lose confidence in Rodrygo

Media reports indicate that Real Madrid is planning to offload several players during the upcoming winter transfer window. The newspaper Defensa Central reported that the club is deeply disappointed with the decline in form of winger Rodrygo Goes, suggesting that the management is now open to selling him if offers of around €50 million are received for the Brazilian international. The report explained that the 24-year-old has only played 25% of the available minutes this season under coach Xabi Alonso, reflecting his diminished role within the team. Other sources also indicate that Rodrygo is no longer in the Spanish coach's plans, currently ranking third in the bench behind Brahim Diaz and Franco Mastantono. Meanwhile, GiveMeSport reported that English clubs Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have expressed strong interest in signing the player during the January transfer window.
