Tottenham player survives a terrifying night

Tottenham Hotspur, the reigning Europa League champions, have offered their full support to Italian international defender Destiny Uduji and his family after reports surfaced that he was threatened with a firearm in London. British police confirmed they arrested a 31-year-old man in connection with the incident, which occurred last September, before releasing him on bail pending further investigation. A Tottenham spokesperson said in a statement: "We have been offering our full support to Destiny Uduji and his family since the incident and will continue to stand by him. As the matter is still under investigation, we cannot comment further at this time." Police explained they received a report on September 6th that a man in his twenties had been threatened with a firearm in a north London suburb, an area where several Tottenham and Arsenal players reside. A police spokesperson added: "During the course of the investigation, it emerged that another man, also in his twenties, had allegedly been blackmailed and threatened by the same individual." Police confirmed that no injuries were reported in either incident, noting that on September 8, a 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing firearms with intent to use them, extortion, and driving without a license.
