Hakimi faces the risk of missing the Africa Cup of Nations

There is considerable concern within Paris Saint-Germain following the serious injury suffered by Moroccan star Achraf Hakimi, one of the team's key players this season. Conflicting reports have emerged regarding the duration of Hakimi's absence after he sustained a painful injury to his left ankle during his team's Champions League match against Bayern Munich. The injury, caused by a harsh tackle from Luis Diaz, forced Hakimi to leave the field in tears, a scene that alarmed his teammates and fans. The Spanish newspaper Marca quoted PSG coach Luis Enrique after the match, in which he stated that what happened was "part of the nature of contact football," expressing his regret over his player's injury. He added, "The situation is painful for everyone, and we will know the exact extent of the injury after the medical tests he will undergo on Wednesday." Meanwhile, French media outlets revealed that initial reports indicate Hakimi is suffering from a sprained left ankle and could be sidelined for six to eight weeks, casting doubt on his participation with the Moroccan national team in the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations.
