Ancelotti: I haven't been in contact with Neymar and Vinicius made a mistake

Carlo Ancelotti, the coach of the Brazilian national team, revealed that he has not been in contact with star player Neymar recently, indicating that he is waiting for him to recover from his injury before taking any steps regarding calling him up to the national team. The Brazilian national team is preparing to play two friendly matches against Tunisia and Senegal during their training camp this November, with Neymar absent from the squad. During the press conference held before the training camp, Ancelotti said: "I haven't spoken to Neymar yet, we'll see what happens when he recovers and is able to play again." The Italian coach added, explaining his criteria for selecting players: "I might call up a player who lacks fitness for the first match or two of the World Cup, but it is impossible for me to include a player who is not physically ready for the entire tournament. We need players who are at their best." Regarding his relationship with Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior, Ancelotti said: "My relationship with Vinicius is excellent, and we always exchange conversations and advice. After El Clasico, I spoke with him, and I think he realized his mistake and apologized for it, and so the matter is over." He continued: "Vinicius is a very influential player for us, and he can offer a lot to the national team. I am not his father or brother; my role is limited to training him and helping him on the field, while his personal life is his own affair."
