Foden makes his 200th appearance for City

Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden achieved a new milestone in his career with the club, reaching his 200th Premier League appearance during City's 3-1 victory over Bournemouth in the tenth round of the competition. The club's official website explained that Foden reached this mark at the age of 25 years and 158 days, breaking the previous record held by Raheem Sterling, who reached 200 appearances at the age of 26 years and 284 days. Foden thus became the youngest player in Manchester City's history to reach this number of league appearances. Foden is considered one of the most prominent stars of the team's golden generation, having won 18 titles since his debut for Manchester City in November 2017, including six Premier League titles – a feat surpassed by only five players in the modern era. Foden also joined a list of just 20 players who have scored more than 100 goals for Manchester City across all competitions, including 62 in the Premier League, thus continuing to write new chapters in his remarkable career with the English champions.
