Liverpool returns to a negative record that has not been seen since 2021

Liverpool suffered another defeat in the English Premier League, at the hands of Brentford, with a score of 3-2, in the match that took place on Saturday evening, in the ninth round of the Premier League during the current season. This is the fourth consecutive defeat for the teammates of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah in the current season of the English Premier League, increasing the difficulties of the Reds at the beginning of the current season, despite the strong reinforcements made by the club during the last summer transfer window. The Opta network reported that Liverpool has lost the same number of matches in the English Premier League this season as it lost throughout last season, as the defeats reached four matches. It added that what is striking is that the team suffered four consecutive defeats in the league for the first time since February 2021, while the previous four defeats were distributed over 47 matches, during which the team achieved 32 wins and 11 draws.
