Messi dominates the Best Player award in America
Argentine star Lionel Messi, an Inter Miami player, was named the MLS Player of the Month for October, following his exceptional performances for Inter Miami at the end of the regular season. According to the official MLS statement, Messi excelled during the final month of the season, scoring five goals and providing five assists in just three matches, two of which he directly contributed to the victory or scored the decisive goal. This is the third time Messi has won the Player of the Month award this season (May, July, and October), and the fifth since joining MLS. In addition to the monthly award, Messi also secured the Golden Boot, presented by Audi, after finishing the season with 48 goal contributions (29 goals and 19 assists), the second-highest number recorded in a single season in the league's history. Messi delivered a decisive performance on "Decision Day" against Nashville, confirming his supremacy as one of the greatest stars to have graced the MLS.
