Yamal awaits a historic achievement in the Champions League

He is expected to make his 25th appearance in the continental competition, becoming the youngest player in Champions League history to reach this number of appearances. At just 18 years and 100 days old, Yamal surpasses the previous record held by Paris Saint-Germain's Zaire-Emery, who played 25 matches at the age of 19 years and 32 days. During his previous European appearances, the rising star scored five goals and made six assists in 1,772 minutes of play, confirming his status as one of Europe's most promising young talents. Barcelona currently sits in 16th place in the Champions League standings with three points, after one win and one loss, while Olympiacos sits in 29th place with one point, after one draw and one loss.
