Nottingham unveils new manager

English club Nottingham Forest announced on Tuesday the appointment of Sean Dyche as their new manager on a contract until the summer of 2027, in a move aimed at restoring the club's identity and building a stable long-term project. Dyche is expected to make his competitive debut on Thursday against Porto in the Europa League, an early test of the veteran English coach's abilities. Dyche returns to the club where he began his career as a youth player to lead a new technical project aimed at restoring Nottingham Forest to prominence. He draws on his extensive experience in the English Premier League, where he has managed more than 330 matches and is known for his disciplined tactical approach, solid defense, and outstanding set-piece skills. Joining the new coaching staff are former club sons and stars of the 1990s, Ian Woan and Steve Stone, who together made more than 400 appearances for Forest. They are expected to be a technical and personal addition to the team, especially given their deep knowledge of the club and its football culture.
