Dele Alli joins Everton from Tottenham in permanent deal until June 2024

Everton have officially completed the signing of midfielder Dele Alli from Tottenham Hotspur on a two-and-a-half-year contract until the end of June 2024.
Dele  joins Everton before the winter transfer market closed, as Everton's new manager Frank Lampard would strengthen his ranks with a second deal after Dutchman Van de Beek on loan from Manchester United. Everton club statement said, "Everton have completed the deal of midfielder Dele Alli from Tottenham Hotspur on a two-and-a-half-year contract until the end of June 2024." Everton have completed the permanent signing of Dele from Tottenham Hotspur.The midfielder has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract until the end of June 2024.Dele told Everton’s website: “I’m delighted to have signed for Everton, a huge club with a great fanbase and history.
“I'm eager to get started and can't wait for my first game in an Everton shirt.“I’m looking forward to helping the team and the opportunity to work with the new manager Frank Lampard.”
Lampard was only officially confirmed as Everton manager  and wants to revitalise the career of Dele, after a difficult few years for the England midfielder. Newcastle United were expected to come in for Dele this month but that never materialised.
He has played 269 games for Spurs and scored 67 goals, as well as winning PFA Young Footballer of the Year twice. Tottenham have already moved to replace Alli, signing Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski on deadline day.
It is possible that Dele will make his debut for Everton in the Premier League match with Newcastle United next Tuesday.
