Tchouameni joins the 100 club with Real Madrid in La Liga

Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni made his 100th La Liga appearance for the club against Villarreal, a 3-1 victory for Xabi Alonso's side. Tchouameni has won 71 La Liga games, drawn 13, and lost 16 with Real Madrid, with the 2022-23 season being his season with the most minutes played, with 33 appearances, followed by 2021-22 with 32. This season, he has featured in all eight La Liga matches. Tchouameni expressed his happiness at reaching his 100th La Liga appearance with Real Madrid, saying: "I'm very happy. I've been playing for the best club in the world for four years, and I want to continue like this. I want to win titles and help my team win matches, and we've done that." He added, "We knew before the match that Villarreal was a strong team, so our goal was to win that match and go into the international break with three points. We did that, we're happy with everyone's goals, and we have to continue like this."
