Sudden changes in the list of candidates for the European title

With the second round of the Champions League campaign now over, it's clear that the ranking of favorites to win the title has undergone significant changes. Every team, every analyst, and every fan has calculated, and so has the global Opta supercomputer, which now places Arsenal at the top of the list of favorites . The London club, led by Mikel Arteta, leads the table with a positive percentage of just over 18% of the 36 teams participating in this stage. Liverpool is second with 14.70%, following their defeat to Galatasaray in Istanbul following a Victor Osimhen penalty, followed by Paris Saint-Germain in third with 13.96% following their victory in Barcelona . Behind them are the traditional favorites, Manchester City and Bayern Munich, with City holding their own in Monaco, while Bayern Munich won with a resounding victory in Paphos . Barcelona and Real Madrid are ranked sixth and seventh according to the supercomputer's predictions, as the first two Spanish teams on the list of favorites. Although Real Madrid are tied with Bayern Munich at the top of the league table thanks to their attacking prowess, both teams raise some doubts about their chances of winning the title this season . The gap between the two teams is clear, with Barcelona having a share of approximately 8.25%, closer to the top positions, while Real Madrid's share is lower at around 4.94% . Atletico Madrid, with 1.16%, Villarreal, with 0.27%, and Athletic Bilbao, with 0.03%, round out the Spanish list of teams likely to win this season's Champions League.
