Officially, Doha will host the Intercontinental Club Cup.

The Local Organizing Committee for the Qatar 2025-2026 World Cup will hold a press conference on Sunday to announce details of the Arab Cup and Intercontinental Cup tournaments, which Doha will host next December. This will further cement the Qatari capital's position as a major destination for international football tournaments. Hassan bin Rabia Al Kuwari, Executive Director of Commercial, Marketing and Communications for the Local Organizing Committee, will be one of the key speakers at the conference, where ticket sales for the Arab Cup Qatar 2025 will be announced, in addition to announcing the dates and stages of the Intercontinental Cup. The continental club tournament will kick off on December 10 with Mexico's Cruz Azul (CONCACAF champions) facing the South American champions. The winner will face African champions Pyramids FC in the semi-finals on December 13, before facing the European champions Paris Saint-Germain in the final on December 17. The competitions coincide with the hosting of the FIFA Arab Cup from December 1 to 18, giving Doha an exceptional momentum that combines regional and global influence, making it a destination for football fans from across the continents. With this, Qatar is gearing up for a busy month of sport, reflecting its organizational expertise and strengthening its legacy of hosting the most prominent football tournaments at the international and continental levels.
