Paris wins the award for the best club in the world

French club Paris Saint-Germain has won the 2025 Best Club in the World award, presented by the French magazine "France Football", during the annual Ballon d'Or ceremony. Qatari Nasser Al-Khelaifi, president of Paris Saint-Germain, received the award during the ceremony held Monday evening at the Théâtre du Châtelet in the French capital, Paris. The Parisian team had an exceptional season after winning the historic treble for the first time since its foundation. The French capital club outperformed the other finalists for the best club in the world, which included Barcelona, ​​the domestic treble winner; Liverpool, the English Premier League champion; Chelsea, the Club World Cup champion; and Botafogo of Brazil. The Best Club award was introduced at the Ballon d'Or ceremony last year, when Real Madrid won it, beating Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen, and Girona.
