Roy Hodgson takes charge at Watford, replacing Claudio Ranieri

Roy Hodgson has become the new head coach of Watford on a heavily incentivized deal that will reward him with a seven-figure bonus if he keeps the club in the Premier League.
The 74-year-old former England manager has accepted a relatively low basic wage to succeed Claudio Ranieri, who was sacked on Monday after securing only two victories in 13 Premier League matches.
The former Crystal Palace, Fulham and Inter coach began his duties quickly, and appeared directly at the club to lead Watford's training, accompanied by his coaching staff, to continue the journey of the oldest coaches in the history of the English Premier League.
