Bayern Munich crushes Chelsea with three goals

Bayern Munich secured a well-deserved 3-1 victory over visiting Chelsea at the Allianz Arena in the first round of the Champions League . Bayern quickly took the lead through Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah in the 20th minute, before star Harry Kane added two more goals in the 27th and 63rd minutes. Cole Palmer scored Chelsea's only goal .   Bayern Munich dominated the match, with 56% possession compared to 44% for Chelsea, and a 90% passing accuracy compared to 89% for their opponents. The Bavarians had 16 shots on goal compared to just nine for Chelsea . Today's victory gives Bayern a strong start to their Champions League campaign, confirming their position as one of the title contenders this season.
