Ronaldo wins the Eternal Legend Award

Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of the Saudi club Al-Nassr, received a historic award titled "The Best of All Time" during a ceremony held by the Portuguese League on Wednesday evening to honor the most prominent stars of last season. The honor received widespread attention, especially since the League did not clarify whether the award was related solely to the history of Portuguese football, or whether it reflected Ronaldo's global standing, which increased the momentum surrounding it. The League simply revealed a distinctive visual design highlighting Ronaldo's most prominent achievements across the clubs he played for, starting with Sporting Lisbon, passing through Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus, and finally Al-Nassr. The 39-year-old Portuguese star commented on this honor, saying: "I thank the Portuguese League for this wonderful award. It is a great honor to receive this recognition in my country, under the title of the Best of All Time." He added: "I dedicate this achievement to all my teammates, coaches, and everyone who has supported me throughout my football career."
