Statistics published by the global network "Opta" revealed that the London team remained unbeaten at home in the Premier League during the current year 2025 (12 wins and nine draws). It is one of only three teams to maintain an unbeaten home record in the competition during this period, along with Liverpool and Aston Villa. Chelsea also scored five of its seven goals in the English Premier League in the new 2025-2026 season from set pieces (including penalties), including four from corner kicks, the same number of goals the team scored in its last 24 Premier League matches last season.
