The match took place on Sunday night, August 24, 2025, at the Carlos Tartiere Stadium, and featured a brilliant performance from Kylian Mbappé, who scored two goals, in addition to a goal from Vinicius Junior, which gave Real Madrid a clear advantage over the other matches in terms of viewership. The second day of the round recorded lower numbers compared to the big match, as only two matches exceeded the 300,000 viewership mark: Real Oviedo vs. Real Madrid and Levante vs. Barcelona, which garnered 694,000 viewers (8.7%). Atletico Madrid vs Elche came in next with 278,000 viewers (4.2%), while four other matches - Mallorca vs Celta, Real Sociedad vs Espanyol, Villarreal vs Girona, and Athletic Rayo Vallecano - failed to reach 150,000 viewers, with Villarreal vs Girona recording the lowest figure with 72,000 viewers.
