The world's most powerful and expensive club brands 2025

Real Madrid has retained its position as the most valuable football brand for the second year in a row, and the strongest for the fourth year in a row, according to the "Football 50-2025" report, published by consulting firm Brand Finance. Real Madrid's official website states that the club's brand value has grown by 14%, reaching a new record high of €1.921 billion. The report states that "record revenues for two consecutive seasons and the continued growth in brand value confirm the strength of the Real Madrid brand and demonstrate the crucial role that a strong and valuable brand plays in sustaining long-term growth. Real Madrid leads international markets as the favorite team for fans around the world." Brand Finance also determines brand strength through metrics that assess marketing investment, stakeholder brand value, and commercial performance. In this category, Real Madrid maintained its leadership for the fourth year in a row, achieving a score of 94.9 out of 100 and the highest AAA + rating. Barcelona came in second place globally for the first time since 2021, after its brand value increased by 11% to €1.7 billion, making it the joint-top two Spanish clubs in the global rankings . Manchester City came in third with a value of €1.4 billion, down 11%, while Liverpool came in fourth with a 2% increase to €1.4 billion. Paris Saint-Germain came in fifth with a 13% increase to the same value, also reaching €1.4 billion .
