Officially.. Son to Los Angeles FC

Tottenham Hotspur officially announced the departure of South Korean star Heung-min Son to Los Angeles FC in the United States during the current summer transfer window . Club chairman Daniel Levy praised the player, saying: "One of the greatest players in Tottenham's history. Thank you will never be enough, Son," in a touching message on the club's official account . Los Angeles FC chose to sign Son because of the player's outstanding technical level and extensive experience, which the American club needs to strengthen its ranks in preparation for the new season. Tottenham did not disclose the financial details of the deal . Son, who joined Tottenham in August 2015, played 454 matches, scoring 173 goals, making him the club's fifth-highest scorer in history. He also won the Europa League title in May 2025 after leading the team to lift the trophy, making him one of the 13 club captains to win a major trophy.
