Rodrygo decides his future with Real Madrid

Real Madrid winger Rodrygo has made a firm decision about staying with the club, confirming his commitment to the club and not leaving during the current summer transfer window . Rodrygo's decision contradicts reports that he has struggled to secure a starting spot under new coach Xabi Alonso, especially after appearing in only three matches at the Club World Cup and starting only once . Spanish newspaper AS revealed that the 24-year-old player plans to continue working hard to improve his game and gain Alonso's trust, noting that his contract with Real Madrid runs until 2028 and includes a huge release clause of one billion euros . Rodrygo, who began his career with Brazilian club Santos, joined Real Madrid in 2019 for €45 million. He has since made 270 appearances for the club, scoring 68 goals, and won several titles, most notably the Champions League twice and the Spanish League three times. He has also been capped for the Brazilian national team since 2019.
