Juventus target Lisbon star

Italian press reports have revealed that Sporting Lisbon midfielder Morten Hjulmand has expressed his willingness to move to Juventus during the current summer transfer window, but the Bianconeri are facing several difficulties in negotiations with the Portuguese club. Juventus is looking for a new midfielder and is expected to sell Douglas Luiz, who has not performed as well as expected since his €50 million move from Aston Villa last summer. He also did not join the team's first week of pre-season training. Italian reports have mentioned several names as potential replacements for Douglas Luiz in Turin, including Hjulmand, Sofyan Amrabat, and Tottenham's Yves Bissouma. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Hjulmand has given his approval in principle to join Juventus this summer, and the club's management is not expected to face any problems regarding personal terms, as a five-year contract with a slight increase to his current salary is sufficient to reach an agreement with the player. However, reaching an agreement with Sporting Lisbon may be more difficult.
