Ronaldo receives a special Austrian gift

Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo received a special gift during his team Al-Nassr's training camp in Austria, ahead of their upcoming friendly match against French club Toulouse. Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr's training on Tuesday, marking his return to action after an absence of nearly two months since his last appearance. The team finished last season in third place in the Saudi Professional League. Under the supervision of his compatriot Jorge Jesus, Ronaldo started the match and managed to score before being substituted in the second half by teammate Al-Khaibari. Al-Nassr won the match 2-1, which also saw new signing Joao Felix make his debut. Before the match, Ronaldo received a special symbolic gift from Austrian Tourism Minister Leo Bauernberger: a pair of traditionally handcrafted leather trousers. Ronaldo's presence at Al-Nassr's training camps and tours adds significant value to the team, not only from a technical standpoint, but also in supporting tourism, given his widespread popularity around the world. Ronaldo, 40, is preparing for his fourth season with Al-Nassr after renewing his contract until June 2027. He is aiming to achieve his first title with the team, especially after a three-year absence from official competitions. Led by Jorge Jesus, Al-Nassr is preparing to participate in the Saudi Super Cup, facing Al-Ittihad in the semi-finals scheduled for the 19th of next month in Hong Kong. Two other prominent Portuguese names have recently joined Al-Nassr: CEO José Semedo and striker João Félix, who arrived from Chelsea.
