Messi under surveillance in a unique live broadcast

Major League Soccer (MLS) has announced the return of the exciting "Lionel Messi Cam" experience, which caused a stir last season, during Inter Miami's upcoming match against Mexican club Necaxa in the Leagues Cup on Saturday, August 2. According to Diario La Capital, an exclusive camera will be dedicated to monitoring Inter Miami star Lionel Messi throughout the match, providing an unconventional viewing experience for fans around the world across social media platforms. The MLS official website confirmed that the match will feature a special broadcast called "Player Spotlight," in which the camera will follow Messi's every move on the field, giving viewers a unique opportunity to experience his performances more closely than ever before. This decision follows the huge success of the experience last season, with Messi's live broadcast on TikTok garnering more than 6.4 million views, the highest number in the history of live sports broadcasts in the United States on that platform. The newspaper report indicated that this exclusive experience will be shown in four upcoming matches, but the American League has so far only announced the date of the first match, with the other matches featuring the "Messi Camera" to be revealed later. The new experience represents a new step in the American League's strategy to expand its global fan base, capitalizing on the overwhelming popularity of Lionel Messi around the world.
