Guardiola plans a strong deal from Real Madrid

English: Manchester City, led by Spanish coach Pep Guardiola, continues its efforts to rebuild its squad after the end of a golden era in which it dominated English football, amid major changes taking place in the current summer transfer window. It appears that Spanish coach Pep Guardiola has set his sights on strengthening the midfield, by attempting to sign French star Eduardo Camavinga, a Real Madrid player. According to the Spanish network "Defensa Central", Guardiola is very impressed with Camavinga (22 years old), who caught his attention while playing for French club Rennes before moving to Real Madrid. Camavinga is known for his ability to play in more than one position in midfield, which is perfectly in line with the versatile style of play preferred by the Manchester City coach. Amid the uncertainty surrounding the futures of several City stars, such as Bernardo Silva and Ilkay Gundogan, and with the departure of Belgian Kevin De Bruyne to Napoli, it has become clear that Guardiola is seeking to make a qualitative shift in the midfield to maintain the team's competitiveness domestically and in Europe. Despite Guardiola's interest, Real Madrid coach Xabi Alonso has no intention of letting Camavinga go, considering him a key component of his project for next season, making a move to Manchester City difficult to achieve at the moment.
