Chelsea earns $125 million

English club Chelsea reaped a whopping $125 million after winning the expanded 2025 Club World Cup, which was held in the United States with the participation of 32 teams. The victory came after a crushing 3-0 victory over French club Paris Saint-Germain in the final match held at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, in front of a crowd of more than 82,000 spectators, amid widespread global coverage of the most important club tournament. The brilliance of English star Cole Palmer, who scored two goals and set up the third, contributed to leading the Blues to their first title in the new edition of the tournament, which was organized by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) according to a different system from previous editions, with unprecedented financial prizes. This sum is the largest prize money in the history of club tournaments, reflecting the extent of investment and media interest in the new tournament, which is now held every four years, similar to the World Cup for national teams.
