Maresca: We won the World Cup final in 10 minutes

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca confirmed that the players gave their best performance during their match against Paris Saint-Germain, which the Blues won 3-0 in the 2025 Club World Cup final, which was hosted by MetLife Stadium in the United States. Maresca said in his statements after the match: "The high pressure was very effective, and despite the difficult weather, the players gave a strong performance and appeared at their best in this final." The Chelsea manager added: "I have no words to express how much the team deserved this victory. It was an amazing moment for all of us. I felt the game was decided in the first 10 minutes, when we succeeded in imposing our full rhythm and controlling everything on the pitch." He continued: "When I joined the club, I said I was in love with the team, but we said that talent was not enough and you need a game plan and the same way of thinking. I work every day just to improve myself. I try to learn. In every session and every game, I just try to do better. It has been a great season. I am just happy for the players."
