How much did Chelsea win in the Club World Cup?

English club Chelsea received a massive $30 million bonus from FIFA after qualifying for the final of the 2025 Club World Cup, which is currently being held in the United States until July 14. Chelsea achieved a 2-0 victory over Brazilian club Fluminense on Tuesday evening at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, adding $30 million to their bankroll before facing the winner of the match between Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain in the final, where the winner will receive a prize of $40 million in addition to previous bonuses. Coach Enzo Maresca's team had collected approximately $70 million prior to this match, achieving four consecutive victories over Atletico Madrid, Esperance, Benfica, and Palmeiras. Chelsea's total earnings from participating in the tournament are likely to have exceeded $102 million, especially if we take into account the participation bonus, which is estimated between $12.8 million and $38.19 million according to FIFA. Although the exact amount received has not been confirmed, Chelsea received a higher value than teams such as Benfica, Atletico Madrid, and Red Bull Salzburg, due to their recent victory in the Europa Conference League. New Brazilian striker, Joao Pedro, played a prominent role in Chelsea's victory over Fluminense, scoring two wonderful goals in the 18th and 56th minutes, hitting a powerful shot each time, which means the team will receive half of his transfer fee in just one match. Joao Pedro, 23, joined Chelsea from Brighton ahead of the quarter-final match against Palmeiras, for a fee of €63.7 million. Fluminense, under the leadership of coach Renato Gaucho, surprised everyone by eliminating Inter Milan, the Champions League runner-up, in the round of 16. They then overcame Al Hilal in the quarter-finals, but their journey ended in a loss to Chelsea.
