Al Nassr turns its attention to the Arsenal star

Reliable English journalist Ben Jacobs revealed Arsenal's position on selling its Brazilian winger, Gabriel Martinelli, to Saudi club Al-Nassr during the current summer transfer window. Jacobs stated, via his account on the "X" platform, that Martinelli is one of the names on the list of alternatives for Al-Nassr in the event that they fail to sign Colombian star Luis Diaz, the Liverpool player. He explained that Arsenal does not intend to let the player go at the present time and has already begun preliminary negotiations to extend his contract with the team. Despite the Gunners' insistence on Martinelli's services, Jacobs indicated that Al-Nassr club believes that a large financial offer may be enough to change the position of the Arsenal management. The Brazilian winger joined Arsenal in the 2019-2020 season, coming from Brazilian club Ituano. The 24-year-old has made 51 appearances for Arsenal, scoring 10 goals and providing 6 assists, in 3,564 minutes of play.
