Will Mbappe return to lead Real Madrid against Juventus?

Real Madrid faces a crucial test in the 2025 Club World Cup when they face Juventus in a tough Round of 16 clash, as Los Blancos look to continue their quest for the global title. The anticipated match could see the return of French star Kylian Mbappé, who has recovered from severe gastroenteritis, which kept him out of the group stage. Although he has resumed training, his participation in the starting lineup has not yet been confirmed, as the technical staff is considering using him as a substitute in the hot weather and the possibility of extra time. Young Brazilian striker Endrick has also returned to training after recovering from a muscle injury, but he is unlikely to be included against Juventus. The same applies to defender David Alaba, who is suffering from a new muscle injury. Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo indicated that Mbappé is now in good physical condition to play, but the final decision will depend on the assessment of the technical staff, led by Xabi Alonso. The team resumed training in Palm Beach, Florida, after a short break. The training session focused on enhancing possession, quick transitions between defense and attack, and included shooting drills and some tactical aspects in preparation for the upcoming match.
