Besiktas crowned the Turkish Super Cup champion for the ninth time in its history

Besiktas crowned the Turkish Super Cup Champion for the nine times in its history, after defeating Antalyaspor 4-2 on penalties, after they tied 1-1 in extra time and regular time in the match played Wednesday at Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium in Qatar’s capital Doha.
Atiba Hutchinson's close-range finish gave Besiktas a 1-0 lead in the 33rd minute, before the same player equalized the result in favor of Antalyaspor by owing an own goal at the 74 minutes.
Both sides failed to score during the extra time and the tie remained in the original time and the extra time two halves, to resort to penalty kicks, which smiled in favour of the Besiktas whom lifted the trophy by defeating their rival 4-2 on penalties
