Real Madrid secures Vinicius' contract

Spanish newspaper Marca revealed that Real Madrid is close to officially announcing the renewal of Brazilian star Vinicius Junior's contract until June 2030, a move that confirms the club's commitment to one of its most prominent stars in recent years. According to the report, several discussions have taken place between Real Madrid's management and the player's representatives over the past period, during which a preliminary agreement was reached on all terms, pending official ratification of the new contract in the coming days. Vinicius' agent is currently in the United States, where club CEO José Ángel Sánchez and club president Florentino Pérez are also based, increasing the likelihood of a deal being completed soon. Although the agreement has yet to be officially announced, the clear intention of both parties is to remain together until 2030, meaning Vinicius will spend 12 years with the Merengues, having begun his journey with the team since his transfer from Brazilian club Flamengo in 2018. Vinicius Junior had previously confirmed his desire to remain at the Santiago Bernabéu for as long as possible, expressing his happiness at playing for Real Madrid.
