Inzaghi: Pachuca is a strong opponent

Al Hilal coach Simone Inzaghi confirmed that his team performed well against Austrian club Salzburg in the Club World Cup, despite the goalless draw. He noted that the players created enough chances to secure victory, but lacked luck in the final touch. Inzaghi said after the match: "I am completely satisfied with what the players did. We created many chances, and we deserved to score. Leonardo and Savic had real chances, and this reassures me about the team's level at this stage." The Italian coach indicated that his tenure with the team is still short, but he feels satisfied with what has been achieved so far: "Preparations began only a week ago, and I have been here for ten days. I am happy to join Al Hilal. The club has put trust in me, and I am committed to this project." Regarding defender Hassan Tambakti's injury, Inzaghi explained that it does not seem worrying: "I don't think it is a muscle injury. The player is just tired after the Real Madrid match, and we will evaluate his condition in the coming days. We have options like Lajami and Khalifa, and Neves has even played in central defense when required." Inzaghi spoke about his next opponent, Pachuca, saying: "I watched their match against Salzburg, and they were a very tough opponent. I haven't watched their match against Real Madrid yet, but they are an organized team with a style similar to Salzburg's. We are taking them very seriously, even though they lost in the first two rounds." Concluding his talk, Inzaghi touched on his relationship with Inter Milan, saying: "I didn't watch their last match, but everyone knows how much I love this club. I was with them for four years, and Inter will always be in my heart." The capital club are third in Group H with two points from two draws so far, while the Austrian team is second with four points. Real Madrid leads the standings, ahead of Salzburg only on goal difference, while Pachuca is last with no points and has officially been eliminated from the tournament.
