Including two Arab teams... 7 teams are out of the Club World Cup

Before the start of the final round of the group stage, seven teams have been confirmed eliminated from the 2025 Club World Cup, narrowing the race for qualification spots. Al Ain of the UAE was the last to leave. The list of eliminated teams included two Arab teams from Group G, Wydad Casablanca of Morocco and Al Ain of the UAE, after they failed to secure enough points to compete for a place in the knockout round. All eyes are now on the final round, which will be held on Monday evening, where the remaining three Arab teams—Al Ahly of Egypt, Esperance of Tunisia, and Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia—continue to cling to their chances of qualifying despite the complicated calculations. Al Ahly faces Porto needing a win, while Palmeiras awaits a gift against Inter Miami. Esperance, meanwhile, will face Chelsea in a match that cannot be divided into two, while Al Hilal faces Pachuca. Real Madrid must also avoid a draw against Salzburg.

The teams that have officially left the tournament so far are as follows:

Auckland City (New Zealand – Oceania)

Wydad Athletic Club (Morocco - Africa)

Urawa Reds (Japan - Asia)

Al Ain (UAE - Asia)

Ulsan Hyundai (South Korea – Asia)

Los Angeles FC (United States - North America)

Pachuca (Mexico - North America)
