Why did Bruno Fernandes reject Al Hilal's offer?

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has revealed the reasons behind his rejection of an official offer from Saudi club Al Hilal, who had expressed interest in signing him recently. Speaking during a press conference with the Portuguese national team, Fernandes said: "Al Hilal were very kind. They contacted my agent, and then I spoke to my wife, who asked me: 'What do you want to do?' She always supports my decisions. It was an easy decision to make, especially since I know some of the Portuguese players there well." Despite mutual respect, Bruno explained the main reason behind rejecting the offer, saying: "I want to continue playing at the highest level possible and compete for major tournaments. I'm still capable of doing that, and I have the passion to continue in Europe and achieve more titles." Al Hilal had entered into advanced negotiations with Fernandes as part of its efforts to strengthen its ranks with a new global star, but the Portuguese player preferred to stay at Manchester United and continue his career in the English Premier League.
