Al Hilal star shines, Salah tops the world's best

The International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES) has announced its ranking of the most influential players in 60 leagues around the world. Al-Hilal's Salem Al-Dawsari ranked 38th globally with a score of 81.4 points. His Brazilian teammate, Malcom, ranked 42nd with a score of 81.1 points, and they were the only players from Saudi Roshen League clubs on the list. Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool striker, topped the list with the highest absolute rating of 100 points, surpassing Barcelona players Lamine Yamal and Pedri Gonzalez. The ranking also featured Liverpool players in defensive positions, with Virgil van Dijk and Trent Arnold in high positions, while Bayer Leverkusen's Florian Wirtz topped the attacking midfield. Kylian Mbappé also outperformed Victor Gjokeres at center forward. The ranking was based on six key areas: aerial balls, ground defense, distribution, influence, assists, and shooting. The list featured four players under the age of 20, including Lamine Yamal, Estevao, Willian, Pau Koparsi, and Jorel Hato. Mohamed Salah, however, was more than just a goalscorer, having contributed to 47 goals in the Premier League this season, scoring 29 goals and providing 18 assists. Salah's tally for Liverpool now stands at 244 goals, making him the club's third-highest scorer in history. He also scored 185 Premier League goals, surpassing Sergio Aguero to become the fifth-highest scorer in Premier League history and the highest-scoring foreign player. This achievement confirms the distinction of Salah and Salem Al-Dawsari among the Arab stars who have left their mark on the global football scene.
