Barcelona's talent is close to leaving in the summer

Dutch club PSV Eindhoven has opened negotiations with Spanish club Barcelona to sign young right-back Hector Fort during the upcoming summer transfer window. The 18-year-old Fort is a graduate of the club's renowned La Masia academy but has struggled to make an impact under German coach Hansi Flick. According to Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo, this season's Dutch champions, PSV Eindhoven, have expressed a clear interest in the player and have already made initial contact with Barcelona to explore the possibility of completing a deal. Fort faces fierce competition for the right-back position at Barcelona, which may prompt him to consider a new experience outside of Spain to ensure more playing time and continued development. It is worth noting that Barcelona is restructuring its squad for the new season, following a successful domestic campaign in which it won the league, Copa del Rey, and Spanish Super Cup titles. Flick is seeking to secure the futures of several young players, given the strong momentum within the starting lineup.
