Courtois achieves a special achievement in his career with Real Madrid

Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois played his 200th La Liga match for the club during the match against Mallorca, which the Merengues won 2-1 in stoppage time. Courtois reached the 200th match in the competition against Mallorca in the 36th round of La Liga, during which he has recorded 131 victories to date. Thanks to his saves, Courtois has contributed to three La Liga titles (2020, 2022, and 2024) since joining Real Madrid seven seasons ago. The 2020-21 season was the Belgian's most appearances, with 38. He has played 30 matches so far this season. Speaking after the match, Courtois said: "I would have liked to have played more games, but I missed some due to injury last year. I'm proud of this achievement." He added: "I've always dreamed of becoming a Real Madrid goalkeeper since I was a child. Reaching this number in La Liga and winning so many titles is amazing. This hasn't been our best season in terms of titles, but we keep working. I'm excited to continue defending this shirt in more matches."
