Sevilla fans invade training ground

Sevilla FC's facilities were thrown into chaos following the team's 3-2 defeat to Celta Vigo in the 35th round of La Liga. The defeat sparked an escalation of fan anger, with a group of fans storming the club's training complex and smashing the entrance gate. This escalation comes after a decline in the team's performances, with Sevilla currently sitting in 16th place with 38 points from 35 matches, just two places above the relegation zone. Hundreds of fans gathered outside the club's facilities awaiting the players' return, expressing their dissatisfaction with the poor results, especially as the team suffered its 15th defeat of the season. Police and club security were able to contain the attempted intrusion without any injuries. The team is scheduled to resume training on Sunday, in preparation for Tuesday's match against relegation-threatened Las Palmas. Despite playing with ten men after defender Marcos Alonso was sent off in first-half stoppage time, Celta Vigo managed to secure the victory, compounding Sevilla's struggles in the league this season. The club's management has not issued any official comment yet regarding the recent events.
