Paris Saint-Germain generates huge revenue after qualifying for the Champions League final

Paris Saint-Germain, led by Spanish coach Luis Enrique, has generated huge revenues from its participation in the current 2024-25 Champions League, after qualifying for the final for the first time since 2020. According to a report published by the French newspaper "L'Equipe," the Parisian team is expected to earn nearly six times what it will receive from French league broadcasting rights, thanks to its distinguished participation in the continental tournament. While the Parisian team is estimated to earn around €22 million from French league broadcasting rights, its revenues from the Champions League are estimated to exceed €138 million, following its elimination of Arsenal in the semi-finals on Wednesday night. The club's expected revenue is distributed as follows: €18.62 million in participation bonuses, €17.5 million for league performance and position, €11 million for qualifying for the round of 16, €12 million for reaching the quarter-finals, €15 million for reaching the semi-finals, and €18.5 million for reaching the final. In addition, the club will receive €34 million from UEFA broadcasting and marketing rights, as well as an additional €11 million based on the club's European coefficient over the past ten years. If Paris Saint-Germain wins the tournament against Inter Milan in the final, it will receive an additional bonus of €6.5 million, in addition to €4 million for participating in the UEFA Super Cup against the Europa League champions next August.
