Leipzig targets Ancelotti's son!

German club RB Leipzig has contacted Davide Ancelotti, son of Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti, as part of its efforts to sign a new coach to lead the team starting next season, according to the German newspaper Bild. This contact comes as the club looks for potential alternatives in case negotiations with its preferred candidates for the position falter, most notably Spanish Cesc Fabregas, currently coach of Italian club Como, and Austrian Oliver Glasner, coach of English club Crystal Palace. Davide Ancelotti, 35, has been part of his father's coaching staff for 12 years, having worked at Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, Napoli, Everton, and Real Madrid, without having yet to assume the first-team position. The assistant coach is contracted to Real Madrid until 2026, making his appointment a challenging move if the German club decides to proceed.
