Manchester United star on Al Hilal's radar to replace Salah

In a new attempt to bolster its ranks with a global star, Saudi club Al Hilal has entered into serious negotiations with Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes to sign him during the upcoming summer transfer window, in a deal expected to be one of the largest in the history of the Saudi league. According to the Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadhiyah", Al Hilal's management has submitted an official three-year offer to the Portuguese playmaker, in a move aimed at compensating for the failure to sign Mohamed Salah, who renewed his contract with Liverpool until 2027. The newspaper confirmed that representatives from Al Hilal's management held a meeting with Bruno Fernandes' agent and lawyer to discuss the details of the contract, with a clear commitment from the Saudi side to meet all his financial demands. Fernandes is one of the most prominent midfield stars in Europe, having scored 19 goals and provided 18 assists for Manchester United this season. Despite Al Hilal's move, the British newspaper "Daily Mail" denied that Manchester United had received any official offer yet, noting that the English club is committed to keeping the player, whose contract expires in 2027. Coach Ruben Amorim had previously confirmed his categorical rejection of Bruno's departure, saying, "He will not leave. He is an irreplaceable player."
