An Al-Ahly star reveals a surprise about replaying the summit match!

Former Al Ahly star Mostafa Abdo's statements sparked controversy regarding the "clash of the summit match" between Al Ahly and Zamalek, which was canceled due to the Red Devils' withdrawal. His comments come ahead of the Egyptian Football Association's Appeals Committee session scheduled for May 8, which will resolve the grievances filed regarding the match, amid an ongoing controversy over the sanctions imposed on Al Ahly by the Egyptian Football Association. The match was scheduled to take place on March 11 but was canceled after Al Ahly objected to the appointment of an Egyptian refereeing team, escalating the crisis with the Egyptian Football Association and the Egyptian Football Association. The association responded by awarding Zamalek a 3-0 victory and deducting three points from Al Ahly, before later reversing the decision. However, Zamalek filed an official appeal against the decision, demanding stricter sanctions. In a provocative TV interview, Mostafa Abdo revealed his strong feeling that the match will be replayed, saying: "I have a strong feeling that the match will be replayed," admitting that this belief is not based on reliable information and is merely a personal feeling. This statement prompted a reaction from former Zamalek star Helmy Toulan, who sarcastically said, "It's a saying that football in Egypt is in turmoil," referring to the impossibility of a replay from his perspective. Toulan concluded his remarks by saying that if the match were to be replayed, it would be better for Zamalek to withdraw from the league, further complicating the ongoing conflict between Egypt's major clubs.
